On March 12, 2021, the Red Cross Association of Tan Uyen Town coordinated with Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center to organize Voluntary Blood Donation Day Phase I-2021. The employees of DAIM Vietnam Company Limited have participated in this voluntary activity.
This is an annual activity of the company employees to express the spirit of mutual love, share their small contributions but bring great meaning and spread to the community.
In particular, voluntary blood donation is also one of the activities in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management that DAIM Vietnam Co., Ltd. has committed, towards sustainable development, environmental protection and contributions to the community. Actually, DAIM Vietnam has 2 employees pass the achievement of blood donation more than 10 times, rewarded by the Red Cross Association of Binh Duong Province.
Totally, 365 units of blood had been donated on the whole day. This blood will be tested, preserved and supplemented with stored blood to serve the treatment of patients who need blood at medical facilities in the coming time. This is a very important supplementary blood volume for the national blood bank, especially at the moment when the blood reserve is scarce after the Lunar New Year and the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic.
